
Beleaguered Kavitha Kalwakuntla is busy planning her next moves. Accused of being part of the infamous Delhi liquor scam, Kavitha is now contemplating to blunt the accusations by projecting herself as a protagonist of women's participation in the governance. She has already held a dharna at Delhi's Jantar Mantar and wants to do more in this direction.
She is said to be planning to launch a country-wide missed call campaign on this issue. At the same time, she is said to be contemplating of holding round-tables in all the universities in the country on the issue of women's reservations in the law-making institutions. A post card campaign is also being planned.
Kavitha has been accused of acting as a guarantor to the South Group, a conglomerate of liquor companies, to enter into an agreement with the Delhi government in setting up liquor outlets and supplying liquor. Huge kickbacks so got in this contract are believed to have been diverted to fund the AAP candidates in Goa elections.
Kavitha is said to be planning to make Bharat Jagruthi, which is the current avatar of her organisation Telangana Jagruthi the nodal body for this campaign. The leaders and functionaries of the BJ would soon tour various parts of the country to mobilise support for their agitation. The BJ will reportedly work to build pressure on the BJP government in this parliament session.
