Can Rahul’s Disqualification Bring Like-minded Parties Together?

The BJP already earned the image of misusing powers and agencies to target the opposition parties and leaders. The central agencies going only after the leaders of other parties are only adding fuel to the opinion. The opposition parties are using this to target the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Recently, the Parliament announced Rahul Gandhi was disqualified with the court verdict. The Congress leaders and the opposition parties are alleging that the Union wants to damage democracy with Rahul Gandhi's democracy. Like-minded parties are standing in solidarity with Rahul Gandhi.

The grand old Congress party is seeing the disqualification as a big breakthrough to bring all the parties under one roof. The party is saying that even the parties that don't like Congress are supporting it.

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor said that disqualifying Rahul Gandhi is a self-goal of the BJP and with this, the parties are coming together to support the party. He also said that the BJP created a situation where the opposition parties are coming together.“They have also created a level of opposition unity that did not exist before,” the MP said.

As said by Shashi Tharoor, it is good news for the opposition parties as they are coming together. The opposition parties want to defeat the BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls and this development would be a piece of big news.

Though the parties want to defeat the BJP, they are having issues and are unable to come together. But now we have to see if Rahul Gandhi's disqualification can bring the opposition parties together. If this happens then the BJP might face a big issue with the polls. Let us wait and see what happens.
