MLA quota MLC Polls: Chandrababu Arriving At Assembly?

The recent MLC polls gave an unexpected result as the opposition Telugu Desam Party won the three seats. On top of this, the grand old party won the polls by a big margin. With this,  a few political experts say that Telugu Desam Party still has the chance of winning the next general polls and if the party can make good moves then it can make history.

Now the state is seeing another election with MLC quota MLC polls. The elections for seven MLC seats of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council under the MLA quota are slated for the commencement. Both YSRCP and Telugu Desam Party are giving their best for the polls. So we can expect an interesting poll.

To make the election episode interesting, Telugu Desam Party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu is said to be coming to the Assembly for the polls. The former Chief Minister is coming to the Assembly to explain to the MLAs the game plan and how they have the chance to shock the ruling party.

The ruling YSRCP has a super majority of 153 seats. On the other hand, Telugu Desam Party has 23 seats and four of them are supporting the ruling YCP. But two YCP rebels are walking with the TDP and the party now has 21 members' support. Political experts say that the opposition party needs just one vote to shock the YCP.

For this, Nara Chandrababu Naidu is coming to the Assembly. Earlier reports said that many legislators are not happy with the YCP as the survey said their image is not that great. They have no option left except for making their performance better or looking for an alternative.

Chandrababu Naidu might seek the help of the rebels to make the party candidate win. If this happens, then it would be a big blow to the YCP. Babu is said to be in plans for this.

Even if the Telugu Desam Party cannot win, it would be a big achievement if it even poses a big threat to the YCP in at least one seat. Given the experience of Babu, anything is possible.
