Why Congress Leadership Wrote Letter To Chandrababu?

It is known that parliamentary elections will be held in 2024. The massive padayatra Bharat Jodo Yatra started by Rahul Gandhi which was started with the aim to bring the Congress party to power is coming to an end.

Rahul Gandhi started his yatra in Kanya Kumari. The Bharat Jodo Yatra covered Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and Himachal Pradesh and reached Jammu and Kashmir. Rahul Gandhi will conclude his padayatra in Jammu and Kashmir.

Amid this, Congress National Chief Mallikarjun Kharge has sent letters to the chiefs of various parties. It is said that the letters were written to the chiefs of as many as 21 political parties.

However, an invitation was sent by the main opposition party to the BJP, the Congress, and the Telugu Desam Party. It is said that the invitations were sent to like-minded parties. Rahul Gandhi is all set to conclude his Bharat Jodo Yatra on the 30th of this month in Sri Nagar. Now it became interesting to know what TDP would do now.

Interestingly, Chandrababu Naidu is said to be working on joining hands with the BJP and Janasena for the next elections. The alliance came to power in 2014. So Chandrababu Naidu wants to create the same magic for the 2024 elections. Though Janasena is giving positive indications, the BJP has different plans.

It is known that BJP is accusing TDP and YSRCP as corrupt parties and the party is trying to root out family politics. Saying that BJP is against the two the leadership is telling it is with the Janasena.BJP leaders are saying that they will form a government with Janasena.

But the Congress party writing to Chandrababu Naidu created a space for interesting discussions. The Congress party got vanished almost after the state bifurcation. Experts say that Chandrababu Naidu will not benefit if he allies with Congress. There is an opinion that the BJP will come to power at the Centre. So the TDP is hoping that the BJP will join hands by the time elections come.

For the concluding event of Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo, the heads of 21 parties were sent letters. Congress circles said that Chandrababu Naidu also received an invitation. But it is said that Chandrababu might not attend the meeting. No one from TDP is expected to attend the occasion.

It is said that invitations were sent to West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, Tamil Nadu CM Stalin, former Chief Ministers Uddhav Thackeray, Akhilesh Yadav, Mayawati, Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren, and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu.

At the concluding event of Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra, Congress is expected to reveal its goals for the next elections. Congress is allegedly working on an alliance if the parties come together.

Under dramatic events, TDP came out of the NDA alliance before the 2019 elections. Chandrababu Naidu went to Rahul Gandhi's house at that time. He worked with the Congress in Telangana. Chandrababu Naidu's actions created a big uproar. He distanced himself from Congress after the party lost the elections.
