After he reportedly made controversial comments on Prophet Muhammad he was arrested and a PD Act was slapped against him. He spent around one month in jail and was released after the High Court of Telangana gave him conditional bail. He was suspended from the BJP party for the controversy.
Despite this, the MLA is not taking a back step and making controversial comments. Recently he visited the Murdeshwar temple in Karnataka and talked about the non-Hindu shops at the temple. Without taking any names the MLA said that the Karnataka government should act on this and make the temple premises free from non-Hindu shops.
"I also know how the government deals with illegal encroachment, especially near temples. I request the Karnataka state government to ensure Murdeshwar temple is free from illegal non-Hindu encroachers," the Goshamahal MLA said in the viral video.
It has to be mentioned here that earlier Karnataka saw a big controversy with the demand to keep non-Hindus away from holding shops near Hindu temples. This created a big controversy. This was followed by Halal and Jhatka meat.
Yet again the issue was raised by the MLA. His video is now doing rounds on social media. People are talking about this now and giving their views on the row.
“During my two-day stay here, where followers of #LordShiva come from various parts of the country, near the beachside, non-Hindus have encroached the area & have set up sheds for their businesses. These are encroached sheds," says #Telangana Ex #BJP MLA #TRajaSingh.#Murdeshwarpic.twitter.com/YlhqGHjcSH— Hate Detector 🔠(@HateDetectors) January 24, 2023
