YSRCP Wants To Bank On Four Strong Vote Banks For Next Elections?

BCs are one of the biggest vote banks in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana as well. The governments make sure that they will give good chances to the leaders from the communities to have a balance. They are not only a strong vote bank but they are also a deciding factor in the polls.

The community earlier stood with the Congress party and backed Jagan Mohan Reddy's YSRCP in the previous polls. As a return gift, Jagan included the BCs as the beneficiaries of various schemes that are being implemented under the flagship Navaratnalu, a collection of nine schemes.

Yet again YS Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed his love for the community on a big stage. Jaiho BC Garjana was held in the temple city of Vijayawada today. Addressing the gathering YS Jagan listed how his government helped the BCs. He also gave a new name to the community.

BC stands for Backward Classes in society, But Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy gave a new name to the classes and said that BC means Backbone and the government made the bone stronger by empowering them.

Accusing the previous government led by the Telugu Desam Party of not empowering the community, Jagan said that BCs are now forward in many aspects as his government gave the required confidence to the community it needs.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister sought BCs help yet again for the next polls. He also said SCs, STs, and minorities are behind him. He said he is seeking the support of the four communities and wants them to give their support for the next polls.

If the four communities can come under one roof and support the ruling party then nothing can stop the party from coming to power. We have to wait and see if the communities can support YSRCP.

SCs and STs were once a strong vote bank for the Telugu Desam Party. But the Karamchedu Dalit massacre changed the status quo and the communities are maintaining their distance from the opposition parties. It appears like the ruling party wants to bank on the four strong vote banks.
