Why BJP Got Sudden Love For Shrimad Bhagavad Gita?

Bhagavad Gita is one of the holy scriptures in Hinduism. For centuries, the scripture has been read by devotees and people who follow the faith. However, a few people started labeling the scripture which is read, only when someone dies. Films also played a role in portraying Bhagavad Gita in that way.

Now people have this perception that whenever they hear Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, they immediately think someone has died. Even the Last Rites Vehicles are also playing Bhagavad Gita while carrying the corpse.

Now Telangana BJP chief Bandi Sanjay spoke about the issue as part of his Padayatra. He met many priests' organizations and bodies in Janagama and asked them about their issues. He assured that the BJP would look into the issues after coming to power.

Talking about Bhagavad Gita, Bandi Sanjay said that playing the scripture only when someone dies is not good and is disrespectful in manner. He also urged everyone that those who do that would have to face the consequences. Many people are appreciating Bndi Sanjay for raising his voice about this.

Though he raised his voice agonist a key issue, one wonders why Bandi Sanjay and BJP got sudden love for Bhagawad Gita. Many say that Bandi Sanjay made these comments keeping the Munugode by-poll in mind. As the party wants to win the by-election at any cost, he might have made the comments, many say.
