Political resolution to be highlight of YSRCP plenary

The YSRCP is making preparations for the conduct of the plenary of the party in a big way. The Plenary, which is being held after a gap of five years, would be held at Guntur on July 8 and 9.  Significantly, this is the first plenary after the party came to power in Andhra Pradesh in a landslide election in 2019.

Sources reveal that as many as nine resolutions would be passed at the plenary. But, there is a lot of interest about the political resolution that the plenary would pass. The political resolution is likely to outline the strategy of the party for the 2024 elections. There would also be a detailed commentary on the political scenario of the state.

There are also expectations that the party would also spell out its stand on political alliances. There are also speculations that the YSRCP plenary might comment on the national politics and other developments in the country. The plenary might also pass comments on the alliances that the rival parties might enter.

Those in the know say that the YSRCP plenary would discuss in detail the government’s achievements during the last three and a half years. Sources say that the political resolution is likely to pack quite a few punches. Sources say that this would be the first time that YS Jagan would address the plenary as the party president.
