'Major' Completes Censor & Gets A Standing Ovation!

Adivi Sesh's upcoming biographical drama 'Major' is gearing up to hit the screens on 3rd June. The promotions have officially begun all over the country and the trailer raised the expectations massively. The songs are well received and movie lovers cannot wait to witness the epic life story of a brave soldier who put his life on the line to save the people.

The censor formalities have been completed and the board awarded the U/A certificate to the film. The film is 149 minutes long but it is reportedly very gripping and emotional according to the reports. The Censor board members have reportedly given a standing ovation and saluted the film's makers after the screening has been completed. This explains volumes about the outcome of 'Major'.

The first is expected to be about the life of 'Major' as a youngster who developed an interest for the army and fell in love with Isha played by Saiee Manjrekar. The second half is arresting with its edge-of-the-seat narration and intense action episodes. The emotions run high during this part and every artist delivered their best as per sources. News is that Adivi Sesh spellbound everyone with his stellar performance and the transformation of the scenes of school days is unbelievable.

'Major' is based on the life of Sandeep Unnikrishnan who sacrificed his life during the '26/11' attacks in Mumbai back in 2008. Veterans like Prakash Raj, Murali Sharma, Revathi and others are also a part of this film. This pan-Indian project is produced jointly by Sony Pictures India, A+S Movies and GMB Entertainments jointly. 'Major' is being directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka who made 'Goodachari' earlier with Sesh. Abburi Ravi has penned the dialogues while Adivi Sesh himself provided the screenplay. Maratha beauty Saiee Manjrekar will be seen as Sandeep's love interest while Telugu girl Sobitha Dhulipala is playing a key role in this film.
