YS Viveka Case: CBI reconstructs scene at Viveka's residence!

The Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) which is probing into the murder case of former Lok Sabha member Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy is using all the possible options to gather all the information on how the attack on Viveka took place.

To collect more details on the incident, the CBI officials have reconstructed the scene at YS Vivekanandareddy's residence in Pulivendula. The intention behind this is to know more details on how the accused might have made their way into the residence of the victim and returned after the attack.

As the accused are said to have reached the residence of Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy on the bike, the CBI officials had opted for the scene reconstruction to have an idea on how they might have entered the house and how many people would have entered the house.

Besides this, the reconstruction was also done to know how they barged into the house and how the attack might have been carried out on Viveka. Later, the scene reconstruction was also done at Rotary Puram, on how the tools used in the attack were thrown into the river.

To gather as much as possible information on the incident, the Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) officials are also likely to quiz driver Dastagiri and Erra Gangireddy in connection with the murder case.

The CBI investigation in the murder case had completed 100 days. The central agency had taken over the case from the Andhra Pradesh Special Investigation Teams(SIT) going by the orders issued by the Andhra Pradesh High Court. The court gave the orders while hearing a petition filed by Sunitha Reddy, daughter of Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy.

As another big development in the case, the CBI officials nabbed one more accused in the case. The accused was produced before the Magistrate Court and the court ordered a judicial remand for 14 days.

One Umashankar Reddy, who is into the dairy business was arrested by the CBI officials. After quizzing him for a few details, Umashankar Reddy was produced before the Pulivendula Magistrate Court and was sent to judicial remand for 14 days based on the orders. He is currently in the Kadapa Central jail. He is said to be a follower of YS Viveka.
