A lot of discussions are going on over the alleged replacement of Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) veteran BS Yediyurappa as Karnataka Chief Minister. Speculations are abuzz that he might resign from his CM post.

Amid this, senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Arun Singh rubbished the rumours of Yediyurappa's resignation and said he would remain as Chief Minister. He had handled the Covid-19 situations well, he said.

All these reports and rumours about changing the Chief Minister are nothing but imaginary. He will continue to be the Chief Minister, Arun Singh said. The national general secretary in-charge of Karnataka asked the leaders to not talk about the leadership change.

The BJP leader's comments came when BS Yediyurappa is facing severe criticism within the Karnataka wing of the party reportedly. A few leaders have spoken against the Chief Minister openly. The opposition parties are attacking the BJP over this.

Opposition leader Siddaramaiah had slammed the chief minister and the BJP high command in Karnataka are weak. He questioned why no action was taken against the leaders, who spoke against the CM, he asked.

It is said that the leaders in BJP are not happy with Yediyurappa, as he is facing allegations of corruption and mismanagement of the Covid-19 pandemic. On top of this, the leaders are also unable to digest the bossism of his son BY Vijayendra.
