Vijay Mallya exploring options to escape extradition to India!

Fugitive billionaire Vijay Mallya, who is accused of fraud and money laundering in India is exploring all the possible ways to stay in the United Kingdom, to escape extradition to India, reports claimed.According to the media reports, Vijay Mallya has reached out to UK Home Secretary Priti Patel to see that, he stays in the United Kingdom.

The media reports quoted Vijay Mallya's lawyer Philip Marshall as saying, though the extradition process was upheld and he was out on bail. Until Priti Patel signs the extradition order, he remains on bail.These media reports have added fuel to the speculations that Vijay Mallya is exploring all the possible options to remain in the United Kingdom.

It is said that UK Home Secretary Priti Patel can decide whether Vijay Mallya can be permitted to stay in the United Kingdom or his extradition process can be initiated.Vijay Mallya is accused of fraud and money laundering cases and he owns not less than Rs 9,000 crore to 17 Indian banks, including the state-run banks.
