PM Modi Disbursed Loans To PM SVANidhi Scheme, Interacts With Them

The Coronavirus pandemic left a heavy tool on various businesses and fields in India. Out of them, the street vendors faced severe losses with everything around us coming to a halt.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed loans to around 3 lakh vendors under the Pradhan Mantri Street Vendor's Atmanirbhar Nidhi Yojana (PM SVANidhi Scheme) as a bid to lend a helping hand to them.

The loan distribution event took place virtually from Uttar Pradesh given the prevailing situations. PM Narendra Modi interacted with the beneficiaries of the scheme.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took part in the event through video conference.

While disbursing the loans, Narendra Modi said, this is a very important day for India to be self-reliant(Atmanirbhar Bharat). We will show how the country will cope up with difficult situations.

Interacting with the beneficiaries, Narendra Modi inquired about the problems faced by the beneficiaries and how they will get benefit from the PM SVANidhi Scheme.

Narendra Modi applauded the employees of the banking sector who worked hard during the pandemic time to see that the beneficiaries of the government schemes get their benefits.

The new loans given to the beneficiaries of the PM SVANidhi Scheme were completely paperless and hassle-free. The amount deposited in beneficiaries' accounts through cashless transactions.  

The PM SVANidhi Scheme aims at providing working capital of up to Rs 10,000 for the beneficiaries at subsidized rates.
