KTR'S Witty Tweet On Free Covid-19 Vaccine Results In A TRS-BJP Twitter War

Telangana Minister of IT&C and TRS working president Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao, popularly known as KTR who is quite active on social media reacted to a tweet on the free Covid-19 vaccine announced by BJP.

Recently, a Twitter user asked KTR if he has taken a Covaxin vaccine shot when he visited Bharat Biotech company. The used got the doubt, as the leader was exposed to the crowd and he is safe.

KTR who is known for his wit took an indirect dig at the Covid-19 vaccine while replying to the user's tweet. "Nope. Didn't get any COVID vaccine shot; apparently it's reserved only for Bihar." (sic), KTR tweeted.

This tweet resulted in an online fight between Telangana Rashtra Samithi(TRS) and Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) followers. The followers indulged in a war of words.

While the TRS followers mocked BJP for such election promise, the BJP followers tried to explain the context of Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman's statements on the vaccine.

Union Finance Minister unveiled the election manifesto of BJP in Patna ahead of the Bihar polls. Providing free Covid vaccine and 19 lakh jobs are the promises made by BJP.
