Congress Veteran Catches Coronavirus, Goes Into Isolation

The list of celebrities and politicians getting infected with the virus is getting bigger and bigger day by day. One more leader tested positive for the novel Coronavirus.

Congress veteran, Rajya Sabha member Ahmed Patel has contacted Covid-19. Subsequently, he went into home-isolation at his residence in the national capital Delhi.

The senior leader took to Twitter to announce the news and urged the people who came in contact with him to get themselves isolated.

"I have tested positive for COVID-19. I request all those who came in close contact with me recently, to self-isolate," Ahmed Patel's Tweet read.

Earlier, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, Union Ministers Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, Pralhad Patel, and Congress senior leaders Abhishek Singhvi and Tarun Gogoi and others have tested Covid-19 positive.
