Vijay's Master Will Release Only In Theatres

Thalapathy Vijay's 'Master' is one of the highly anticipated films in Kollywood. Due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, the film's release had to be postponed. Meanwhile, there have been rumours about the film releasing on OTT platforms.

But, the director Lokesh Kanagaraj has confirmed that Master, will only have a direct theatrical release. He ruled out any possibility of the film premiering on the digital release.

After Suriya's Soorarai Pottru was acquired by Amazon Prime Video, the rumours were rife that many of big stars films were likely to release on OTT.

"Vijay's Master will release only in theatres. There is no chance of the film releasing on any OTT platform. We are waiting for the theatres to re-open in the country," the director said.

Even though fans are sad about the delay, they are all set to enjoy the film on big screens. 'Master' has actor's like Vijay Sethupathi, Andrea Jeremiah, Malavika Mohanan, Shanthanu, Arjun Das, and others.
