Man Arrested For Dialing 100 And Threatening To Harm PM Modi

A tense situation arose in planned city Noida of Uttar Pradesh with a man dialing to the '100', emergency number, and threatening to attack Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Police tracked down the call and arrested him. Cops said that the accused was identified as Harbhajan Singh and he is believed to be a drug addict. Though the accused hails from Haryana, he is living in Noida.

Talking about the same, Ankur Aggarwal, Additional DCP of Central Noida said that the accused was taken into custody at the area that comes under the Phase-3 Police Station.

It is believed that the accused was being questioned by the cops for his act and according to the sources Harbhajan Singh turned out to be a drug addict.

After questioning, the accused will be sent for medical examinations. Once the medical examination reports are out, we will get more information in this regard.
