Telugu Youth Develops Alternative For Zoom App, Gets A Reward Of Rs 15 Lakh

A video-conference app developed by a Telugu Youth under the startup company Soulpage made it to the top five apps out of 2,000. The app emerged victoriously as a potential alternative for the renowned Zoom app.

Going into detail, the Union Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology sent an invitation to various startups to develop an alternative app for the Zoom app. The app named Libero, developed by Telugu youth Vamsi Kurama who hails from Kakinada of AP won the government's recognition.

25-year-old Vamsi Kurama who gained the government's recognition felt proud of making it to the final place and said the app developed by him is very convenient when compared to the zoom app.

The developer maintained that his app which comes with additional features like whiteboard, meeting notes, and noise cancellation is very secure. He received Rs 15 lakhs as prize money.

Vamsi Kurama who works as a computer scientist is presently working on some projects in connection with artificial intelligence.
