Inda-China Standoff: Japan Extends Its Support To India

Ever since the fierce standoff with the Chinese troops at the Galwan Valley in Ladakh, India is gaining support from various nations like United States, Russia. One more nation added to the list.

Japanese ambassador to India Satoshi Suzuki supported India in this regard and gave a rather powerful message to Dragon country China and opposed the unilateral action along the border.

Satoshi Suzuki took to Twitter, post his conversation with Indian foreign secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla and said Japan aims at peaceful resolution, and condemned the unlawful move by China to change the status quo along the border.

"Had a good talk with FS Shringla. Appreciated his briefing on the situation along LAC, including GOI's policy to pursue peaceful resolution. Japan also hopes for peaceful resolution through dialogues. Japan opposes any unilateral attempts to change the status quo," Suzuki's Tweet read.

Three days after the violent standoff, the Japanese foreign ministry issued an official statement in which it said Japan is monitoring the situation closely and extended its supports to India.
