Yellow Media Back To Jagan Baiting As Delhi Tour Gets Cancelled

The Yellow Media has gone gaga over the sudden cancellation of AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's Delhi tour. The media began making brouhaha over the last minute postponement of the tour.

Jagan was to go to Delhi on Tuesday. He was to board the flight at about 10 AM from Gannavaram. But, the itinerary was deferred in the last minute for reasons unknown. He was to be accompanied by a host of ministers and officials. He was expected to meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah and discuss the Corona control measures and the issues arising out of the State Election Commission issue.  He is also expected to discuss the issues arising due to the migrant exodus. Jagan was to meet the Jal Shakthi minister Gajendra Shekhawat. The main issue that was to be discussed was fund support for the Polavaram project. Polavaram project has not made much progress in recent times and Jagan had planned to discuss the issue.

The Jagan Government's handling of migrants and Corona have come in for a lot of praise. The massive testing planned and executed by the Jagan government has proved successful. However, the last minute cancelation was enough for the yellow media to make it an issue.
