A Woman BJP Leader Fires Gunshots At 9 Minutes 9 PM Event

Following the message of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Indians have switched off the lights and lighted candles to fight the novel coronavirus. Even the film stars and sportspersons are no exemption in this.

Uttar Pradesh BJP woman leader who represents the Balrampur constituency Manju Tiwari has taken a step ahead after she allegedly fired gunshots in the air with a revolver and she reportedly backed this and termed this as a fight against the virus.

The video of her allegedly firing the gunshots went viral on social media, which made the Balrampur police file against the district president of the party's women's wing Mrs. Tiwari.

An FIR has been registered against Ms. Tiwari under Section 286 (negligent conduct with respect to explosive substance) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30 of the Arms Act 1959.

Following this, she had apologized for her actions and maintained that after seeing the Deepavali-like atmosphere in the city she got carried away a bit by seeing the people lighting lamps and bursting crackers.

"When I came out I saw the entire city decorated with earthen lamps and candles. I felt excitement like it was Deepavali," she said.
