AP Cancels Annual Exams Of 6th-9th Standards

The deadly outbreak of the novel coronavirus which has resulted in the complete lockdown of the nation has left a negative impact on the school exams too. Earlier, the 10th board exams were postponed in AP.

Following the lockdown across the nation, Andhra Pradesh has decided to cancel the annual examinations of students studying from 6th standard to 9th standard.AP Educational Minister Aadimulapu Suresh announced that the students will be promoted to the higher classes without conducting exams.

Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi announcing about the complete lockdown of the nation with the deadly Covid-19 spreading its dangerous wings in India, all the offices and organizations were closed leaving Kirana shops and medical shops alone.

Generally, the summer holidays for the school students will be given from April 21st to June 5th. But with the current situations, no one knows when will the situation come under control.

This forced the Jagan-led AP government to cancel the examinations and promote the students without affecting their academic year so that it will not create any negative impact.
