NIA Got A Big Breakthrough In Pulwama Attack Investigation

The National Investigation Agency(NIA) has nabbed the person who had helped the suicide bomber of the Pulwama terror attack case, Adul Ahmad Dar that killed 40 CRPF personnel last year. This is the major breakthrough in the terror case.

The arrested person was identified as Shakir Bashir Magrey, who is believed to be an overground worker of Jaish-e-Mohammed, a Pak-based terror outfit. He was produced before the NIA Special Court at Jammu and he was remanded to 15 days of NIA custody for interrogation.

It has been reported that he was nabbed with the help of the Jammu and Kashmir Police. IG Anil Shukla was present himself at the valley to oversee the arrest process.

According to the NIA,22-year-old Shakir Bashir Magrey owns a furniture shop in Kakapora area of Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir. He provided shelter and other assistance to the suicide-bomber Adil Ahmad Dar reportedly.


It has been widely reported that Shakir Bashir Magrey has revealed in the interrogation that he had harboured the suicide-bomber and Pakistani terrorist Mohammad Umar Faroo1q at his residence from late 2018 til the time of terror attack in February 2019 and he even assisted them in IED preparation.
