GVL's Tight Slap To Sujana

BJP's Rajya Sabha MP GVL Narasimha Rao has given a tight slap to his colleague Sujana Chowdary, verbally that is. He has in no uncertain terms said that Sujana is a BJP MP and should fall in line. Sujana Chowdary should start behaving like a BJP MP and not as a member of his erstwhile party, which he had left for the BJP.

In a stinging interview to the TV 5, he made these caustic comments on Sujana Chowdary. The TV show host asked GVL as to why there was a divergence between his thoughts and those of Sujana Chowdary. You say the Centre will not interfere with the choice of the capital city, while Sujana says that the Centre will decide where the capital should be. To a similar question, Sujana had earlier said that he has the same set of powers that GVL has. GVL is elected from the UP while I am from AP, he said. When he was told about this, the GVL shot back saying that those who are saying this are not the spokesperson of the party, while he is. He said it is his word that matters and those speaking otherwise did not have an idea of how the governments work.

Then the anchor asked him as to whether the MP did not know the party's line on the issue. To this, GVL said that they did not know the party line. He said his was the party line. He then said that some people have joined the BJP from the TDP. They still seem to have some affection for their erstwhile party. They should learn to toe the BJP line, he said sternly. This is being seen as a tight slap to Sujana, who has been fiercely adopting a pro-Chandrababu line within the BJP.

Now, let's see what Sujana will say next!!
