What Happened To Marketing Expert Nani?

Natural Star Nani was known for his new marketing strategies and approaches for his films. Nenu Local, MCA did not need him to market much as music and production house, took care of them.

But for Eega, Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy, Yevade Subramanyam, Ninnu Kori, Majnu, Krishnagadi Veera Prema Gadha he did come up with new strategies, went on TV Shows and even tried social media promotions.

He did promote highly the films Devdas and KrishnaArjuna Yuddham. But this year, his Jersey team started promoting three months ago and by the time of release, they were under the radar until the last minute push.

Now, Nani's Gangleader is not even getting that last minute push. The Pre-Release Event did not bring much needed buzz up for the film. Even though it is Vikram Kumar's film with Nani, it needs promotions to attract crowds on first day.

Film seems to have lowest buzz for any Nani film, even lower than Paisa, Jendapai Kapiraju kind of disasters. Have the team Mythri Movie Makers gave up thinking they have to minimise losses after Dear Comrade or did they think WOM only can boost the film?

We don't know but with Anirudh Ravichandran as the composer, Lakshmi, Saranya Ponvannan, RX100 hero Karthikeya in the cast, this kind of subdued release is hard to fathom. By the way, movie is releasing on 13th September, that is, day after tomorrow, in less than 40 hours.
