Did Vijay Deverakonda Made A Blunder?

'Arjun Reddy' became a cult film. Even Bollywood Film Fraternity recognised Vijay Deverakonda as a good actor with this movie. To everyone's surprise, Our Rowdy Actor decided against doing the Hindi remake and it eventually worked really well for Shahid Kapoor.

Definitely, Vijay Deverakonda wouldn't have got a better film than 'Kabir Singh' for his Bollywood Launch. In that way, He committed a blunder to satisfy his ego (it's a remake).

Well, Movie Buffs really don't care whether a film is a remake or not. They just bother about the content and whether if they were able to connect with the emotions. This is why Legends like Chiranjeevi, Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan has done remakes. At the end of the day, You are narrating a story. Who cares, If it's an Original Subject or Remake or Freemake?

Signing 'Kabir Singh' could have fetched nationwide recognition for Vijay Deverakonda, especially from the North Indian People. Instead, He choose 'Dear Comrade' for Pan-South Market and paid the price. A Terrible Mistake indeed!
