The Andhra Pradesh state cabinet has approved the bill to have three capitals and the development of Amaravati, Vishakapatnam, and Kurnool as Legislative, Executive, and Judicial capital cities respectively.

This news did not go well with the farmers and people of the Amaravati region. They tried to reach Assembly which made the cops lathi-charge them.

With the farmers trying to reach the Assembly in large numbers and coming out from the agricultural lands made the police attentive and take the condition in to control. This led to a tense situation at the second and fourth gates of the Assembly.

Police and farmers had a war of words over this issue. Police who were serving at other places were also deployed there as farmers were coming in large numbers to surround the Assembly.

While the meeting is going on in Assembly the situation outside escalated at once with women too joining the farmers.
