And now, Focus shifted to the long-pending demand of delimitation of Assembly Constituencies in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. BJP Leader GVL Narasimha Rao responded on this demand: 'Centre decided to conduct delimitation of Assembly Constituencies in Jammu & Kashmir which is now a Union Territory. Elections would happen in J&K only after the delimitation. When it comes to Telugu States, Centre has been considering the proposal to increase the Assembly Seats as it's been already included in the AP Reorganisation Act 2014. There is still 5 years time for the elections in AP and Telangana. By that time, Centre will be doing the delimitation of Assembly Constituencies'.
If the delimitation happens, Assembly Constituencies in AP will increase from 175 to 225. In Telangana, Count of MLA Seats gonna be 150-plus from existing 119.
