Orange Jersey Led To India's WC Defeat: Ex-CM

Former Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Mehboob Mufti blamed the 'orange-splattered jersey' worn by Team India on Sunday for the defeat in the World Cup league match against England. She believes 'orange' colour in the new 'away' jersey led to the first defeat of Team India in 2019 World Cup. 'Call me superstitious but I would say it's the jersey that ended India's winning streak in the #ICCWorldCup2019,' she wrote.

Jammu & Kashmir BJP Chief Ravinder Raina breathed fire on Mehboob Mufti for make such sensational comments. He dared to say Mufti made those comments as her heart bleeds for Pakistan.

Shiv Sena Leader Sanjay Raut wondered why Pakistan is losing inspite of wearing green jersey if Mehboob Mufti's theory is right. He slammed Mufti by saying some people want to ruin India's name.

India faced defeat by a margin of 31 runs while chased 337 runs inspite of the century from Rohit Sharma and half-century from Virat Kohli.
