The interesting thing is both have selected the same genre of the movie for their debut. Rich girl and poor guy love stories is not a new concept in the Indian cinema. A few months ago, Jhanvi Kapoor marked her debut with one such movie 'Dhadak' which came as the remake of Marathi movie 'Sairat'. The movie became a decent hit and made good collections at the box office.
Now, Sara Ali Khan also picks the same genre and marked her debut with 'Kedarnath' starring Sushant Singh Rajput. The film carried a decent buzz before the release and ending the long wait, the film has finally hit the screens today on December 7th. Interestingly, this tragic love story is getting mixed response from the audience. Some are commenting that it is a mediocre movie, whereas some are saying that the performances are decent but the movie is not.
Some slammed the makers saying that the film tried to use the same concept as 'Sairat' but failed utterly. However, everyone is commenting that Sara Ali Khan made a promising debut with this movie and will have a good future.
