The alleged over charging of parking fee is making the hospital visitors breath fire against Apollo hospitals.
Going into details, the issue of over charging of the parking fee surfaced with a netizen sharing her experience. In a tweet, she said the hospitals are charging fees on an hourly basis.
The Twitter user who goes by the handle name of Revathi even questioned didn't the private hospitals made enough earnings in the Covid times.
"Was at Apollo Hospital a while ago. How is it right for a Hospital to charge for parking? There are hourly charges and also for 12hrs, it is 100 Rs. Absolutely insane. Also, didn’t Pvt hospitals earn enough in #Covid times?," the tweet reads.
Reacting to the tweet, the netizens also questioned the same and shared their views on the same.
Going by the rule position of GO 63 issued by the Telangana government, the parking facility for the first 30 minutes at multiplexes, movie halls and other commercial establishments is absolutely free.
After exceeding the 30 minute limit, the vehicles have to pay the parking fee based on the time they were at the respective establishments.
The GO was brought to counter over charging of parking fee. Looks like Apollo is not following the same rule.
