Following this, the Farmers of the Capital Region have been staging protests opposing the 'Three Capitals' decision and to continue Amaravati as the capital where Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone and performed Bhoomi Puja.
The TDP has been searching for every possible way to stop the Three Capitals and as part of that Chandrababu Naidu strategically made the Legislative Council Chairman Shariff recommend the bills to the select committee creating a small halt for the bills.
The efforts of the TDP on the capitals row did not go well with the YSRCP and rallies and protests observed by the Students JAC and YSRCP youth wing against the TDP party.
This rally witnessed huge participation from the public too as the opposition is opposing the government's idea to develop the state entirely rather than just focusing on one area like Amaravati.
The participation of the public in these rallies clearly shows that people of the North Andhra are not happy with the stand of Opposition on the capital issue and this might, in turn, become a negative point for them in the next elections.
