Facebook's WhatsApp messaging has reached 2 Billion users worldwide. The same confirmed by the company in a blog post. WhatsApp reached 1.5 billion in 2018 and 1 billion users in 2016.
To recapitulate the significance of the encryption of the user's messages the WhatsApp has used the great milestone as many lawmakers around the world were pressurizing the company on the grounds of personal data.
"For all of human history, people have been able to communicate privately with each other, and we don't think that should go away in a modern society," WhatsApp CEO Will Cathcart said.
