After having some issues with TRS party chief K. Chandra Sekhar Rao, she left the party. Currently, she is working with the Congress party. After almost a gap of 14 years, she again started working in films. She is currently working in Mahesh Babu's "Sarileru Nekevvaru".
With the government not ready to accept the demands of the RTC workers, they went for the strike. Its been more than 25 days, but there is no positive response from the government.
Even the High Court is not happy with the steps taken by the government in solving this dispute.
The lawyer, representing the government told the Court that the government has no funds with it and cannot spend Rs478 crores for the RTC.
Looks like this statement did not go well with Vijaya Shanti.
She took top Social Media to express her take on this decision.
"By seeing the argument of the Government side Lawyer, it's very clear that promises made by KCR will not happen. The government telling it doesn't have money with them is the best example of this. The High Court has asked the Lawyer, how KCR can implement development programs in Huzur Nagar when the government doesn't have 47 crores to solve the problems," read her post.
