Telangana PCC Chief Uttam Kumar Reddy came down heavily on Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar for denying permission to the national party's rally marking its 135th Foundation Day. 'This Commissioner of Police lacks character and his style of functioning is objectionable. He is facing several corruption allegations as well. We are going to complain against him to the Governor,' he said in a serious tone.

Uttam Kumar Reddy went to the extent of saying Anjani Kumar doesn't have the moral right to serve as the Top Cop. 'How dare he is to insult the Congress Party which have a history of over 100 years? Its time for him to change his IPS into KPS (Kalvakuntla Police Service),' opined the Congress Head.

TPCC Chief mentioned about Section 8 of the AP Reorganisation Act 2014 using which Governor could control Hyderabad's Law & Order for 10 years. Uttam told Congress Party will appeal Governor Tamilisai to use her powers to prevent discrimination.
