If sources are to be believed, the trust will follow the pattern of the Somnath Mandir reconstruction trust. It will not take money from the Government. It will raise funds from the general public. A massive fund-raising programme would soon be unveiled across the country. A bank account would be opened for the purpose. In case of Somnath Mandir too, Mahatma Gandhi insisted that the funds should be raised from the general public and both Sardar Patel and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan founder KM Munshi had resorted to crowd-sourcing for funds.
Ayodhya trust would be formed as per the diktats of the Supreme Court and the trust would be responsible for the design and construction of the Ayodhya temple. The Supreme Court in its verdict has said that the disputed land at Ayodhya belongs to the Hindus and gave a 5 acre plot to the Muslims as a compensation.
