Martin Guptill whipped away the yorker bowled by Jofra Archer in front of the deep square to take 2, but the throw from Jason Roy is accurate enough to let Jos Buttler whip off the bails to find the New Zealand Opener fell short of the crease. That is how the match ended in a tie again and England became the World Champions for the first time.
