Manchu Lakshmi has been silent from the past few months. After her talk show on digital platform failed to get a good response, she chose to stay calm for a few days. In the meantime, she heard a few scripts and particularly liked Tharun Bhascker's idea of a web-series as per sources.

Going into the details, Tharun Bhascker started his career with a short film called 'Sainma' which was a hit on Youtube. Later he gained fame with super successful 'Pellichoopulu'. His second film 'Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi' connected to the youth and after that he turned into an actor by acting in films like 'Mahanati', 'Falaknuma Das' and recent 'Meeku Maatrame Cheptha'.

He was expected to do a film with Venkatesh but it got delayed as the latter picked up 'Asuran' remake for his next. In the meanwhile, he will be reportedly direct Manchu Lakshmi for a political web-series which he wrote long back. They were supposed to do it right after 'Sainma' but it delayed due to some issues. Now, this project may soon go on floors and we need to see how it works out.
