Telangana IT minister KT Rama Rao requested centre for sanction of Southern Industrial Corridor connecting Hyderabad-Bengaluru-Chennai on the lines of Delhi-Mumbai industrial corridor. KT Rama Rao invited Piyush Goyal to participate in Bio Asia 2020 conference which will be held in Hyderabad on February 17.

During the meeting, KT Rama Rao submitted various project proposals seeking the allocation of the funds in 2020-2021 Budget. He also asked Piyush Goyal to sanction the new industrial corridor for Telangana state between Hyderabad and Warangal and Hyderabad and Nagpur

The IT minister said that the Telangana Government have already written letters to the other states seeking support for the Southern Industrial Corridor. The Southern Industrial Corridor will benefit Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
