The news of Maharashtra elections which entered the Supreme Court after taking some interste=ing turns to start with the breaking of an alliance between BJP-Shiv Sen and the trio Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress joining hands to form the government and NCP leader supporting the BJP party.

Following this, the trio has filed a petition challenging the government formation of BJP. The apex court will rule on the petitions today. The court has heard the arguments from the lawyers representing both sides.

Lawyers representing the saffron party has said that Fadnavis will prove his majority in the house and also claimed that the court didn’t have the power to counter the move of Maharashtra’s Governor of swearing-in of Fadnavis.

The Supreme Court said that it would have not intervened in this if the process took place correctly. As the process raised some question it had to intervene.

Supreme Court has directed that the floor test should commence before tomorrow evening and the process of floor test should be under surveillance and the video should be submitted with the court.
