Its almost official that Visakhapatnam will be the administrative capital of Andhra Pradesh. Government Officials have already begun the search for identifying suitable office spaces and vacant lands for the smooth functioning in the Port City. Authorities who reached Visakha from Amaravati collected the details about the available structures for setting up temporary offices.

Ministers & Higher Officials have been working in good co-ordination to make Visakha into an Administrative Capital as early as possible. Urban Development Department Commissioner Vijay Kumar toured Visakha on Saturday to prepare a list of available buildings and lands.

Innovation Valley is being identified as the suitable place to set up Chief Minister's Office (CMO).

Millennium Tower is chosen for establishing Secretariat.

IT Hills in Madhurawada are going to be used for government operations.

4,000 acres were identified for AP Build on the outskirts of Visakha.

1,700 acres & 385 acres are in the control of Visakha Metro Region Development Authority & VUDA respectively.

Few Lands allotted for Hospitals & IT Firms in Seethampeta remained unused. Government is likely to take back those lands at the earliest.
