Already Ashok Tanwar and Bhupinder Hooda are quarrelling in Haryana. In Maharashtra, party's firebrand leader Sanjay Nirupam has revolted against the party over the issue of ticket distribution. So upset is he over the denial of tickets to his followers that he has announced that he will not campaign for the party this time. Congress spokesperson Manish Tewari had asked to ask both former Mumbai unit chief Sanjay Nirupam and former Haryana Congress unit chief Ashok Tanwar to stop making statements against the party. "Mr Sanjay Nirupam would be well advised to restrain himself. It would be appropriate if he does not kite fly these conspiracy theories that are unimaginative," Manish Tewari said.
Meanwhile, there is trouble for the Congress in the UP also. MLA from the all-important Raebareli, which is Sonia Gandhi's burrough, Aditi Singh has defied the party diktat of not attending the special session of the assembly held on October 2. Aditi had earlier defied the party line and supported the abrogation of the Article 370. The party has served a showcause notice to Aditi Singh. Meanwhile there are reports that the MLA is likely to join the BJP.
