Rahul Gandhi To Contest From South

2019 Lok Sabha Polls are going to be very crucial for the Congress Party. After settling for all-time low seats in 2014 Elections, The National Party need to show signs of major recovery in the upcoming polls. That's why Congress High Command is offering equal importance to North India and South India.

Rahul Gandhi is contemplating on contesting from a Lok Sabha Constituency down South apart from Amethi in Uttar Pradesh. He might be contesting either from Karnataka or Tamil Nadu in 2019 Polls.

Former Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah placed a tweet, 'Hopefully, next Prime Minister Rahul Gandhi will contest from Karnataka'.

Indira Gandhi contested from Medak Lok Sabha Constituency in 1980 Lok Sabha Election. Considering the present situation of Congress in Telugu States, Rahul Gandhi won't be taking the risk of contesting from either Telangana or AP.
