Pawan Continues To Confuse Party Workers

Though Pawan Kalyan has time and again been saying that he is going to play an active role in politics and that there is no question of merging his party into the BJP, the party workers, the grassroot activists and voters are unenthused. They feel that contrary to hsi pronouncements, Pawan Kalyan's actions are betraying lack of focus, lack of application of mind and utter absence of political sagacity and acumen.

Some of his recent actions have completely put off his supporters. For instance, Pawan had appointed Ramachandra Rao, who rebelled against the official candidate and contested as an independent from Tanuku, as the party's constituency incharge for Tanuku. Protesting against this, senior leader and district level functionary Pasupuleti Rama Rao has resigned from the party.

Even meeting Pawan Kalyan is not that easy for the party leaders. A small coterie around Pawan is making things difficult for the party leaders. One of the biggest resentments is Pawan's decision to make former AP Assembly speaker Nadendla Manohar as the political affairs committee chief. Many leaders have resigned the party in protest against this decision.
