Two of four convicts in the Nirbhaya case, who filed their last possible legal appeal against the death sentence in the Supreme Court, has been dismissed

A five-bench headed by Justice NV Ramana dismissed the petition of two convicts in the Nirbhya case. A mercy petition before the president is now the only option left for the convicts. The convicts will be hanged on 22 January.

Delhi Patiyala court said that the Nirbhaya culprits should be hanged on 22 January. On that day Nirbhaya's mother said that her daughter got justice.

The day when the Delhi Patiyala Court announced that the culprits should be hanged on 22 January, one of the convicts' mother came to Nirbhaya's mother and requested to show some mercy on his son, replying to that Nirbhaya's mother said I too had a daughter, how can I forget what happened to her.
