AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy expressed the view that NDA shouldn't have got more than 250 MP Seats in the recent Lok Sabha Polls. 'Had if there was such a situation, I would have demanded Special Category Status for extending the support. Wished to see NDA needs YCP's support to form the government at the national level. Contrary to my assumption, NDA obtained huge majority. Be it 30 times or 40 times or 50 times, I will keep on asking PM about Special Category Status whenever we meet,' he asserted.

That shows the commitment of YS Jaganmohan Reddy. TDP kept changing its stand on Special Category Status according to it's convenience. In contrast, YSR Congress Party has always remained firm on the bifurcation promise.

People's Mandate in the 2019 Elections will be a lesson to the TDP Leadership. At least now, The Most Experienced Leader need to realise that people won't appreciate if their aspirations weren't given due importance. People of AP would have stood by TDP had if Chandrababu Naidu fought sincerely for Special Category Status instead of waiting till the election year.
