More districts to come in AP?

Tap to expand
AP CM Jagan who has been taking historic decisions ever since coming into power in the state be it Amma Vodi, YSR Aarogyasri and the recent abolishment of the Legislative Council is all set to yet another big move.

It has been widely reported that Jagan has ordered the authorities to oversee the process to increase the district count in the state. During his election campaign, Jagan promised that he will increase the districts.

In the wake of the AP government announcing that Medical colleges will be established in Machilipatnam, Gurajala and Araku districts which will be costing 600 crores for each college.

The rumours of additional districts emerged soon after the state government decided to abolish the Legislative Council as the government can focus only on the development other than worrying about the obstacles created by the Opposition party.

Jagan is trying his level best to keep to promise to make all the Lok Sabha constituencies as districts for the better and overall development in the state. As there are already 13 districts and 12 more districts will be formed very soon reportedly.
