All is not well in both the TDP and the TRS. Within the TDP, there is disquiet over the way Lokesh is being promoted in the party. A strong section of the party feels that Chandrababu was diluting the TDP by aligning with the Congress. Similarly, there is large-scale dissidence within the TRS over the way in which new comers were being given primacy. Many are upset over their being ignored and asked to make way for turncoats. Several MLAs and key leaders are lying low within the TRS. Some of them are already in touch with the BJP central leadership. Leaders with strong connections in the TRS like Raghunandan Rao are said to be in touch with the BJP leadership.
