Talking about the Solar eclipse, PM Modi said he could not witness and enjoy the last eclipse of 2019 as it was partially visible from Delhi with the "cloud cover".

He barely managed to get only a glimpse of the solar eclipse with live streaming. The Prime Minister took to Twitter and said he was very passionate to witness the last solar eclipse of 2019, but unfortunately could not do so.

"Like many Indians, I was enthusiastic about Solar Eclipse 2019. Unfortunately, I could not see the Sun due to cloud cover but I did catch glimpses of the eclipse in Kozhikode and other parts on the live stream. Also enriched my knowledge on the subject by interacting with experts," read Modi's Tweet.

Delhi people woke up early in the thick fog to witness the solar eclipse. The celestial spectacle has started at 8.17 a.m. and lasted till 10.57 am at the National capital.
