Prof Kodandaram is likely to contest 2019 Lok Sabha Polls against none other than KCR's Daughter & Sitting MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha in Nizamabad. This seems to be the strategy of Congress Party to damage the poll prospects of the Ruling TRS.

Congress and Telangana Jana Samithi are of the feeling that defeating Kavitha will be a major blow to TRS even if it wins all the remaining MP Seats. Opposition Camp believes Kodandaram who played a key role in Telangana Movement is the best they could find for this battle.

Actually, Madhu Yashki was supposed to be Congress Candidate for Nizamabad MP Seat. He, however, decided to contest from Bhuvanagiri Lok Sabha Constituency in 2019 Polls due to lack of confidence on achieving victory in Nizamabad. If the situation is like that, Can Kodandarami withstand TRS Wave and that too while contesting against KCR's Daughter?
